Programmatics

Given our long history in product design and manufacturing, we are well aware that risk enters the design and manufacturing phases of a project in many different ways. That is why we have developed our Program Management services to do everything possible to eliminate avenues of risks in your product development programs.

Our rigorous PM process provides risk mitigation from the development of the product requirements and schedule through product qualification and release for production. At every step along the way, the customer is kept in the loop through weekly update meetings and detailed monthly reports. All reports clearly show our design and manufacturing progress measured against the program baselines and forecasts.

The introduction of new or customized technology is certainly an avenue of risk for suppliers. Wherever possible, we try to pair proven commercial products with system design projects. When stock products will not meet customer specifications because of factors such as I/O configuration or processor type, our PM team will develop a customer-centric plan to shepherd the product development from prototype to production.

We also eliminate price change risk by offering a product at a specified price point.  The price we quote at the outset remains the price at delivery.

Contract change management is another important service for our customers. Change orders are costly, and effective PM can ensure that every change has been formally approved by the customer and that a separate purchase order has been cut to reflect the change.

Our PM oversight also provides the documentation of risk management contractors need to show to higher tier contractors who want to know that systems will be delivered on time and exactly to spec.
