VIPC618, a 4-slot 6U VME IndustryPack carrier, supports I/O, ID, memory, and interrupt functions. The 6U carrier provides mechanical mounting and the electrical interface from the VME backplane to 4 single-wide or 2 double-wide IndustryPacks. VIPC618 uses high-density shielded I/O connectors to significantly reduce EMI emissions, and includes latches that offer highly reliable cable connections, even in severe vibration environments.
