ADEPT74 Automatic Video Tracker

The ADEPT74 Automatic Video Tracker is the latest variant in the ADEPT range of automatic realtime video trackers/image processors from GE Intelligent Platforms. This realtime target tracker runs new algorithms offering true high performance multiple target detection and tracking. The base card offers digital DVI-D video interfaces with analog video inputs and outputs available via a mezzanine card. Further mezzanine cards are planned to provide additional video input and output options.


Designed to operate within the PC environment, and PCI Express compatible, the ADEPT74 requires no external hardware support beyond a standard motherboard. The unit’s modes and functions can be controlled via the PCI Express bus or by the onboard RS232/422 serial links.

The ADEPT tracker family has been developed to provide the highest performance solutions in the smallest, fully environmentally proved hardware packages. Most customer requirements can be met by the application of standard ‘off the shelf’ products that have been designed to satisfy the majority of interface and performance requirements without the need for modification.

  • High clutter rejection using Statistical Target Enhancement Pre-processors

  • Symbology overlay of track window, boresight marker, status etc.
  • Intelligent Breaklock and Re-acquisition algorithms
  • Programmable two axis platform drive (PID) filters
  • Menu-Driven PC software allows easy set-up and development
