Our Embedded Ethernet Switch product family offers an extensive number of switches providing maximum flexibility, performance, and density. We have experience with a broad range of application types, from telecom and networking to government and military. Form factors include VPX, cPCI, VME, VXS and PMC and many of these models come in air cooled, conduction cooled and packaged variants. Based on the model you chose, we offer a wide range of connections featuring: 10GigE (10GBase-KX4, 10GBase-CX4, 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-LR), GigE (1000BaseT, 1000BaseSX, 1000BaseLX), 100Mbps (100BaseTX, 100BaseFX) or even 10Mbps (10BaseT).
We feature several management options, depending on model from Unmanaged or Managed Layer 2 to Fully Managed Layer -2/3+ switches. Unmanaged switches operate at Layer -2, with no operator intefacing and are designed for easy deployment in simple, well defined applications. Managed switches are available as Layer -2 only or Layer -2/3+ switches with control and monitoring capabalities via local or remote access. Our managed switches support a wealth of configuration options and protocol support, including multicast, broadcast, spanning tree, and VLANs. Fully managed switches include both IPv4 and IPv6 switching and routing.
